Now, I'm not going to say that I recommend this, but it's something that I chose to do. Our pd practices with CCI Blazer ammo. This stuff is advertized as non-reloadable, because of the aluminum cases. So, the department just tosses the stuff. However, being the curious guy that I am, I had to try to reload some of the cases. They seemed to reload just fine. Using a moderate load, they fired with no signs of cracking or pressure. So I figured that they could be reloaded and kept back as some SHTF ammo. Just sayin', if you can take the price of brass out of the equation, a box of ammo loads up a lot cheaper.

I have not tried reloading the Blazer aluminum cases. A friend of mine loaded a few by mistake, he shot them with no problem. Think I'm going to stick with just brass.
