Well, as most of you know I picked up a Ruger LCP a bit ago. I plan on carrying this little guy in a pocket holster. Here is my take on a holster for it. This holster fits right down in my pocket and stays put. The gun does not spin at all in pocket and the grip is in the same place (so far) every time. The holster does ride up just a bit on a quick grab. So far this hasn't presented any problems. Not once in my practice has the holster come anywhere near coming out of my pocket. Unless your savvy as to gun carry I do not believe that I will ever be printed with this in my pocket. All in all, I think its going to be a great little carry combo when I just don't feel like toting around my XD. Please feel free to point out any potential problems you might see with this holster. I'd rather have something brought up now instead of when its on the line!

How does your LCP kick compared to, say, a .38+P revolver such as the LCR? I've never fired an LCP. Does it have a lot of recoil? I would have to think it would be a bit painful to shoot (then again, it's certainly not a target pistol).

I've never shot another 38 pistol besides this one so I don't have anything for comparison. It does have a fair amount of kick just because there isn't much there to hang onto.
