Has anyone messed with roll crimping shotgun shells? Or tried to load slugs? Or is anyone interested?

I've never personally done any type of roll crimp. I do shoot a fair amount of slugs. I guess the only way I'd be interested is if sabots could be reloaded. Something comparable to Remington's copper solids. Those seem to be what my slug gun prefer.

I came across some old Lyman roll crimpers in 12, 16 & 20 ga. These are the kind that you put in a drill, or drill press. They really work pretty slick. Just put the shell under the quill and press the crimper down for a second. Haven't tried it on any paper shell (Which they were made for) but they work well on plastic. Now I need to get hold of some slugs so that I can try to roll crimp those.
