One of the grand daughters wanted a bow. So, her dad and mom bought her a compound bow, with all of the sights and gee-gaws on it. Think she said that it was a 35 pounder. She brought it out yesterday and we set up a target out by the barn. She promptly stuck two arrows into the side of the barn and we had a devil of a time getting one of those out. Feel sorry for any deer that gets in her way!!

They can be fun to get out. My bow pulls at 72 pounds. I have to try and pull an arrow out a tree once and had to end up leaving a broadhead in that tree. I did save the arrow shaft though.
