What's your way of doing this? Today, I got into looking at gunvault biometric safes, and then began to think about something portable I could secure in my vehicle, when encountering businesses that don't allow CCW. Anyone have any hints/tips/suggestions? The Nanovault looks interesting, although I've seen other brands out there with buttons that don't require any batteries. I like the idea of securing it to the seat with a cable. www.gunvault.com/handgun-safes/nano-vault.html/

Haven't run into that issue here locally, but I would look for a way to secure the weapon up under the seat. Not on the floor, cause that's where anybody would look. But, up in the springs and such. Cheap, no buttons, relatively easy to retrieve, and "out of sight-out of mind"..

I try to avoid doing business with stores that have the no weapons signs they don't deserve my money. In the event that I have to, I don't acknowledge their signs. If they ask me to leave I leave

I usually don't ever secure a weapon in a vehicle. I'll carry it with me and avoid anyplace that does not allow carry. In the rare exception that I have to leave it, it would usually be hidden in the trunk,
