Here is the bread n butter carry for me. Just a long t-shirt is really all thats needed to conceal. Most people are just too busy to notice anything. I'm starting to do a little exploring on different ways to carry but I keep coming back to this as its just the most comfortable for me. This holster also happens to be the second holster I ever made. Came out pretty well I think. What is some of you guys' favorite carry positions? I'm always open to try a new way!

You made that? Nice work! Is that a Springfield XD in there?
I've wondered about OWB vs. IWB. If I get a smaller 9mm, I might try OWB out, based on your suggestion.
Do you carry at about 4 O'Clock?

That was my second one ecto. It is a Springfield XD is 40 cal. The first handgun I ever bought for myself. I used the pistol to pass my test when they required shooting tests. OWB works for me. There are times though I need to be careful of what I'm doing. I've made an IWB holster for a 9mm Makarov (awesome gun!) that I use sometimes when I may get printed more. As far as the 4 O'Clock....kind of. I'm left handed so I actually carry about 8....I think! Pretty much the same thing though....I think. Thanks for the compliment! My stuff is not as fancy as some out there but it works well and holds up very well. That holster has a couple of years of carry on it now.

Iowa’s permit reads “Permit To Carry Weapons” there is no mention of concealed. I'm growing less concerned with my pistol printing or peaking out under my coat if I bend over. It's legal and I have noticed that many people don't seem to care anyway.
Around my home (I live in a small town) and in the yard going to and from my shop I usually carry in the open. Local meth users, and thieves seem to avoid me and my property, Not hard to figure out why.
Salesmen that come to the door glance at my holstered weapon and when I tell them "no I'm not interested" they beat a hot path back to their car.
I practice with my pistols like my life depends on it. Moving and shooting accurately (I don’t plan on standing still and trading shots with the BG), I use cover, and practice various scenarios like staying safe and alive in a car jacking.
Practice, Practice, Practice

You know something rowe, you're right. I was looking at my permit, and it doesn't say anything about needing to be concealed. I don't have my paper permit with me at the moment, but my plastic one is as you say.
