When I was maybe 6 years old, my father and our neighbor took me out shooting with my dad's .22 Winchester rifle. It was a fun time. We shot at cans. I couldn't seem to hit the thing, even with a scope. The gun was on my father's knee, and I disctinctly remember hitting the can dead-center the first time I hit it, and that it was a lucky shot because I wasn't exactly sure I'd aimed right. It was hard to get the image in the scope correct, as I hadn't yet learned my eyes needed to be a certain distance from the scope, and level.
Who taught you to shoot?

Well, when I was a kid, my Dad and Grmpa taught me the basics. Then, I went into the Air Force and learned some more. After that, I got involved with Law Enforcement and learned from instructors, learned by instructing other officers, and learned by instructing Police Explorers. Taught my kids to shoot. Remember when my youngest was 5 and I helped him shoot a 1911. Had to put my arms around him to support the butt of the gun. He thought that that was just great! Lot of fond memories over the years.

I used to own a PS3. Kind of sad I sold it. It was actually the best CD player I've ever owned. By that, I mean that the audio upscaling features were incredible, and rivaled CD players I've heard that cost over $1,000. Plus I could rip stuff to it and play .mp3's.
Oh, and my dad taught me how to shoot. I shot .22 on an Browning Buckmark.

I never really had anyone around that did much shooting. Kind of learned it on my own. Did learn the basics of handguns taking a carry class at C.A.P.S. I've also done a lot of reading online. I'm sure that's not the best way but its what I had.
